Oorsprong van de Nike Air Max
Nike's revolutionaire Air-Sole unit werd eind jaren 70 voor het eerst geïntroduceerd in de schoenen van het merk. In 1987 debuteerde de Nike Air Max 1 met zichtbare luchtdemping in de hiel. Nu kon iedereen, naast het voelen van het comfort van de Air-Sole technologie, deze ook in actie zien. Sindsdien is de volgende generatie Nike Air Max schoenen een constant succes bij zowel atleten als verzamelaars, dankzij hun opvallende kleurencombinaties en lichtgewicht ontwerp dat zorgt voor een perfect gedempte loopervaring.
De terugkeer van een icoon uit 2010
De Nike Air Structure Triax 91, die sinds 2010 niet meer te zien was, maakt in 2021 een comeback. Naast de "Grey Purple" en "Dark Citron" versies, komt ook deze meer ingetogen "Grey Black" uit. De hardloopschoen heeft een zwart mesh bovenwerk, geaccentueerd met geometrische overlays in bijpassend suède of grijs leer. Witte accenten op de centrale Swoosh en de tussenzool maken het silhouet compleet.
